This is the Traxxas TRX-4 Sport 4x4 Ready-to-Run Rock Crawler Trail Truck. The TRX-4 Sport comes fully-assembled with waterproof electronics, TQ 2.4 GHz 2-channel radio system, Trail-Tuned XL-5 HV Electronic Speed Control, and clipless painted body. Battery and charger are sold separately.

TRX-4 Sport
The Traxxas TRX-4 Sport is a technical powerhouse purpose-built from the ground up to conquer any terrain. The Sport packs in all the features necessary for crawling while keeping weight as low as possible. Portal axles provide unprecedented ground clearance with the smooth damping action of aluminum GTS shocks. The lightweight body keeps the CG low for sure-footed climbing and permanently locked differentials transform the motor’s torque into unstoppable forward motion. Built Traxxas-Tough, the Sport adds a dedicated hardcore crawler to the powerful TRX-4 lineup.

Clipless Body Mounting
The clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds for fast battery swaps. This convenient hidden latching system replaces traditional body clips with reinforced panels to maintain body integrity and resist pull-through damage.

The Power of Portals
Portal axles lift the truck at the wheels for huge center pumpkin ground clearance. In order to achieve the same clearance with straight axles, your tires would have to be over an inch taller than the tires on the TRX-4 Sport.

Heavy Duty Steel Frame Rails
A thick 1.5mm steel ladder frame with molded cross members provides exceptional torsional rigidity to resist even the worst chassis twisting articulation. This extremely rigid backbone lets the suspension do the work it was designed to do. You'll feel the difference on trails where the elimination of chassis flex allows for precise wheel placement when navigating technical terrain.

Heavy Duty Steel Links
Thick 5mm diameter steel links feature tough, fully-captured heavy-duty rod ends with steel hollow balls for exceptional strength and durability. This is one rig that wont strand you on the trail with a broken suspension link.

Aluminum Scale Shocks
Oil-filled coilover GTS shocks were created exclusively for the TRX-4 chassis to smooth out even the roughest trails. These silver-anodized aluminum shocks deliver silky-smooth damping and feature threaded bodies for easy ride height adjustment. The convincing scale realism looks great and they perform even better with an O-ring cap seal and dual X-ring shaft seals.
