New 3s Brushless Horsepower
Rustler 4X4’s new Velineon 3s power system is a brushless powerhouse that transforms 3s LiPo power into brutal acceleration and 50+ mph speed, out of the box with no gearing changes required. The fan-cooled VX3 speed control is feature-packed and simple to use with Traxxas EZ-Set one-button programming. The powerful V3200 motor is a model speed, power, and efficiency.
New GTR Shocks
New composite GTR shocks complement Rustler’s 4X4’s long-travel suspension to create a supremely plush ride. GTR shocks hold over 70% more oil than standard Ultra Shocks for consistent damping performance. X-ring seals keep oil in and dirt out for smooth suspension compression and rebound. Spring preload and ride height changes are as simple as turning the threaded collar and the spring retainers are captured with a screw so they can't pop off.
New Clipless Body
Rustler 4X4 receives an updated clipless body mounting system with four latches, one above each wheel, for quick and easy removal. Just press down on the body and the latches lock tight with a reassuring snap. The sleek, aerodynamic body features a rugged internal structure with body reinforcements to reduce the likelihood of pull-through damage.
New Sledgehammer ST Tires
Rustler puts its brushless 3s power to the ground thanks to the outstanding grip of its new high-performance Sledgehammer ST tires. The Sledgehammer’s open-block tread design clears away mud and debris for unrivaled traction on loose surfaces. Large 2.8” RXT 6-spoke black wheels give Rustler 4X4 a powerful stance.

Tough Reinforced Bumpers
Tough reinforced bumpers protect the chassis against impacts. The specially designed front bumper provides a high approach angle that allows the Rustler to climb up and over obstacles with ease.
Functional Rear Wing
Rustler 4X4's functional rear wing reduces drag while still providing valuable downforce for high-speed stability. The wing mounts directly to the internal body reinforcements for lasting durability.
Dual Bellcrank Steering
A dual-bellcrank design pivots on rubber-sealed ball bearings for smooth action in the harshest conditions. The integrated cam-operated servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.
Waterproof Receiver Box
Rustler's innovative waterproof receiver box allows easy access to the receiver. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a patented watertight seal to protect the receiver from water. No matter what the weather, Rustler 4X4 is ready for action!
3-Channel TQi Sport Receiver
The TQi Sport receiver is compatible with all TQi and TQi Sport transmitters. A built-in failsafe returns the throttle to neutral and holds the steering in the last known position in the event of a signal loss. The receiver features full Inclinometer and telemetry functionality accessible through a TQi radio using the Traxxas Link app.
VX3 Electronic Speed Control
The fully waterproof VX3 ESC transforms 11.1 volts of LiPo power into 50+ mph performance with the simplicity of Traxxas' EZ-Set one-button programming. A large aluminum heat sink with cooling fan keeps temperatures down for longer run times. The VX3 comes loaded with high-tech features like race-inspired High-Resolution Linear Braking and real-time telemetry via Traxxas Link.
Velineon V3200 Motor
Designed for 3-cell LiPo power, the V3200 motor is optimized for extreme power and efficiency with a large 5 mm output shaft. Ultra-high temperature sintered Neodymium magnets provide massive torque and linear power. The unique low-maintenance design features high-speed ball bearings with both internal and external cooling fans for consistent high-power output, run after run.
Metal Gear Servo
Rustler 4X4 features a new servo with the durability of an all-metal gear train. The new servo delivers quick, precise control with the security and convenience of fully waterproof construction.
Low-CG Chassis
Rustler 4X4 rides on a low-CG chassis for improved handling and extra stability. The low center of gravity and wide track width helps the Rustler 4X4 stay planted in the turns for thrilling high speed fun.
Fixed Gear Adapter
Rustler's fixed gear adapter takes the guesswork out of setting your gear mesh with five preset gearing positions. Insert the motor screw through the desired gearing position for a perfect gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest landings.
Durable One-Piece Camber Links
Durable one-piece camber links are perfect for bashing because they maintain proper suspension geometry and never require adjustments. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won't pop off.
Wheelie Bar
A wheelie bar is an absolute necessity on a vehicle with the power and speed potential of Rustler 4X4 Brushless. The reinforced wheelie bar provides additional impact resistance for the bumper and also protects the wing during 100-foot wheelies.
Sealed Differentials
Rustler 4X4's sealed front and rear differentials utilize steel-gear internals for maximum durability. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow you to tune the amount of locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside the differentials.
Heavy-Duty 32-Pitch Gears
Designed from the start to handle big brushless horsepower, Rustler's 4X4 driveline uses a rugged spur gear with large 0.8 module/32-pitch teeth for reliability no matter how much power you pour on.
Torque-Biasing Center Drive
Rustler 4X4's Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs shocks to improve driveline durability and distributes equal power to all four wheels for mind-blowing acceleration. It's easy to tune for different traction surfaces by replacing the oil inside the sealed housing.
