Clipless Body Mounting
Slash's innovative clipless body features secure mounting with quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift up to access the chassis in just seconds.
Battery and Charger Included
Slash includes a powerful 8.4 volt 3000 mAh Traxxas Power Cell rechargeable NiMH battery pack to reach its 35+ mph top speed. Fast 4-amp charging is available virtually anywhere thanks to the included 45+ watt USB-C battery charger with iD technology. Power adapter and cable sold separately. For maximum charge rate use Traxxas 2912 45-watt power adapter and 2916 100-watt power cable. The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and safest way to charge your Traxxas batteries. The charger automatically recognizes the iD battery and optimizes the charge settings as soon as you plug it in. There’s no guesswork involved, just fast, reliable charging every time.

3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQ 2.4 GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.
High Torque Steering Servo
A race truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The Traxxas 2075 waterproof digital high-torque servo provides precise steering authority and speed for wheel-to-wheel racing in the backyard or on the track.
Watertight Receiver Box
Slash's patented sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to drive where you want, when you want. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal. A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water. The receiver can be removed for service and aftermarket receivers can be installed without losing the sealing properties of the box.
Telescoping Driveshafts
Slash's telescoping slider driveshafts are extremely durable and allow greater articulation for increased suspension travel.
Integrated Chassis Nerf Bars
Integrated chassis nerf bars offer side body support for door to door racing action. Ruggedly designed body mounts incorporate reinforced washers to support the short course truck body during big-air jumps and high-speed runs.
Torque-Control Slipper Clutch
The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement you can count on, run after run. Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.
Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles
Heavy duty steel turnbuckles allow trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and high-speed performance. Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability and they won't pop off during a race.
Magnum 272 Transmission
The Magnum 272's all metal gears ride on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. The bulletproof Torque-Control slipper clutch and metal transmission gears are ready to handle any power system upgrade including the extreme Velineonbrushless power system.
Short Course Wheels & Tires
Slash's BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires have excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement. Their authentic scale appearance and realistic performance add to the racing experience. The tires come mounted and pre-glued to black dual-profile SCT wheels.
