This is the Scalextric McLaren F1 GTR Papaya Orange 1/32 Slot Car. This car features high detail, working rear lights, Xenon effect headlights, and comes Digital Plug Ready (DPR) for easy digital conversion if desired.
To celebrate the victorious result for McLaren at the 1995 LeMans 24 hours McLaren commissioned five special cars designated McLaren F1 LM (for LeMans). These featured a reduction in weight, by removing the sound deadening in the interior, no audio system and no fan assisted ground affect. The aero was also modified and all examples were finished in the striking colour of Papaya Orange as tribute to Bruce McLaren.
These are the ultimate short tail road going McLaren F1s. It produces a total of 680HP due to its race tuned engine, and while its top speed is less than that of the standard car due to the drag of the rear wing, it achieves its acceleration in a far more brutal manner.
This car will work on most 1/32 analog (non-digital) sets, such as Carrera, Ninco, SCX and more. It can be made compatible with Scalextric digital sets using a digital conversion chip.
