I purchased 2 AFX Digital Lap counters for my 4 lane track . THE FOLLING STEPS ARE NOT NECESSARY, but for me it was easy to do.

I then made a cutout so I can replace the batteries . Next I plugged in the supplied necessary cable for 4 lane operation .
